A Season of Transition (Important Announcement)

It was in 2006 that I heard the Lord call me to establish a house of prayer.

Although I had no idea what kind of adventure I would be embarking on, I gave him my (simple, heartfelt) yes.

Since that day, the Lord has graced me to set my face on establishing a place where worship and prayer would be the primary ministry. A place centered around his presence. A ministry given to singing and declaring the worth and the beauty of the Lord. I’m talking about One27 House of Prayer.

For the past 16 years, we have hosted hundreds and hundreds of hours of worship and prayer. From our weekly worship sets to the many night watches and 24-hour worship events, we've had the joys of singing, praying and declaring the goodness of God.

Along with these expressions, I have had the honor of running with some of the most amazing people. Together, we have enjoyed many hours of conversations, laughing, eating, singing, praying, dancing, shouting, crying, equipping, and quite simply, loving one another.  I will never forget the friendships formed.

Not only have we seen a culture of worship and prayer established, together we have went deeper in the knowledge of God and identity (these two quickly became the "theological staples" of One27). Although equipping has come in many expressions, the clearest are the many Internships and Consumed Conferences that we've had the honor of hosting. I can't even begin to share how those two expressions have personally marked me.

Although this journey hasn’t been without its many challenges, I have to say that I’ve had an absolute blast.

However, as we all know, some things must come to an end.

For some time, I have been sensing a shift in my own personal life. Along with this, I have experienced an unusual growth in the revelation of the Father (as revealed in Jesus). I say unusual simply because it consumes a large part of my thoughts (especially when it comes to how I see and relate to God). For me, this has been transformative. And here’s the cool part: many of the Abba Father revelations have taken place in the Prayer Room, in which I've been able to share in our Internships, Conferences and Sunday-morning sermons. For those of you who have sat under my teaching for any amount of time know this to be true.

In light of my desire to spread the Abba Father message to more and more people, I am stepping down as One27 director to embark on a new journey. I will be shifting my focus to make space for writing, traveling (speaking), and possibly even a podcast. I know the message the Father has put on my heart is to move beyond just one place and into many other places.

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE FROM HERE?

The first thing on my heart is to complete my newest book, 'Fascinated: Living in Awe of the Father.' This book has been a 2-year process and I feel it's time to see it completed. As for other endeavors, I’ll be posting updates via social media and here on my personal website over the coming weeks. Feel free to sign up for updates when you first visit the website (via the pop-up screen).

THE FUTURE OF ONE27

As for the future of One27, the Father has been so faithful to raise up a group of amazing leaders who are ready and excited to continue the ministry and to keep the fire burning. I know full well that the Lord will continue building his house of prayer in Somerset, KY. Although I won’t be around as much, my blessing remains on One27 for it to be all that the Father has designed it to be.

Last but definitely not least, I want to personally thank each of you who has faithfully served alongside of me for the past 16 years. Whether you were with me for a short time or the entirety of my journey, your faithful yes has blessed me beyond what I can put into words.

Blessings & full speed ahead!
